Our Team

Brindha

Founder

An entrepreneur and an avid trekker, I am enjoying my new found passion for farming and the joy of simple living and staying close to nature.  Plus the valuable everyday lessons in resilience, humility, patience and more.  As a parent, I understood how transformative such an experience would be for students!  Thus was born the vision to use Thaimadi Farms as a platform for experiential learning programs that will empower students with the knowledge, attitude and skills that would make them real-world ready.

Sathyanarayanan G

Domain Expert

Hailing from a family of farmers, it has been my dream to re-create the lush green paddy fields etched in my childhood memories.  I am also a keen explorer of traditional Indian knowledge systems in areas of native grains, food-as-medicine, organic crop cultivation and sustainable farming practices.  I would love to share this knowledge with young children in hopes that it will foster a sense of reverence and responsibility for the farming sector.

Sharmila

Program Design

A bachelor in Rehabilitation Science, I love to engage with children over varied activities that help them discover their uniqueness, explore their strengths and embrace their imperfections.  Farming is a wonderful way to engage with nature using all your senses of Sight, Taste, Touch, Smell and Sound.  It is therapeutic beyond imagination and I would love that parents gift that experience to their children.

Ramachandran

Property Manager

A simple, unassuming person, he ensures ‘everything’ is in place.  In charge of Inventory, Logistics, Procurement, Man management and Equipment, he plays a crucial role in the day-to-day operations at Thaimadi Farms

Selvam

Farmer

A farmer by profession and a fighter at heart, Selvam is a powerhouse of knowledge when it comes to agriculture.  An expert in vermicompost and biofertilizers, he is the backbone of all production activities at Thaimadi Farms.

Daisy & Chitra

Farmers by profession, their multitasking capabilities are amazing.  Apart from the farming activities, they also take care of the cattle and the hens, milk the cows, cook delicious food, package rice, dhal and other products and do much more.

Tuffy

Caretaker

Alert and affable, I am the poster boy for resilience. I cherish this Gift called Life.  I offer expertise in the following areas:

Research (sniff, dig, repeat)

Leadership (Love & respect works better than bossing over)

Communication (don’t just bark; use every body part to “talk”)
